Adult Psychological Health
Angela is an empathetic and compassionate psychologist with over 10 years experience supporting adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns, such as depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, grief, health-related issues and chronic pain, family and relationship difficulties, as well as challenges associated with neurodevelopment conditions (ADHD and ASD). She also offers support and coaching for individuals navigating life transitions, career changes, or with a desire for personal growth.
Angela has worked in various clinical settings within adult mental health, including mens health. She is committed to providing inclusive psychological care, respectfully working with adults of all genders, ages, identities, and life experiences.
Workplace Wellbeing & Workers Comp Expertise
With a Masters of Organisational Psychology ('the study of people at work to improve employee wellbeing and organisational effectiveness') and a consulting background in organisation development, Angela is a strong advocate for healthy workplace practices that foster employee wellbeing.
Angela's early consulting career inspired helping workplaces to improve their operating systems and create healthy and productive workplaces for their employees. This background shapes Angela's current practice today when working with clients who are rebuilding their life after workplace injury. She understands how a workplace's systems, culture and leadership influence employee wellbeing and; how poor workplace practices can have a profound negative impact on psychological functioning - leading to burnout or psychological injury.
Angela has worked across both clinical and occupational rehabilitation settings, with over over 10 years experience providing psychological support to Veterans and clients recovering from work related stress/burnout and psychological injuries sustained in the workplace.
Angela is able to offer psychological treatment under Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA), WorkCover NSW (SIRA Registered) and WorkCover QLD.
Qualifications and Therapeutic Approach
Training and Qualifications
Angela completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with the Australian National University in 2008. She was awarded First Class Honours in Psychology and completed a Master of Organisational Psychology with the University of Queensland.
Angela obtained her Psychology Registration with AHPRA in 2011 and has since completed additional specialist training in psychological therapy modalities, including those outlined below.
Therapeutic Approach
Angela understands that opening up about one's personal struggles can feel daunting for all clients. She is committed to providing a safe and non-judgemental space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions.
During the initial assessment session, Angela aims to collaboratively work with client's to understand the key psychological concerns, identify mental health goals and develop a treatment plan in line with these goals.
Angela's ultimate goal in psychological therapy is to leave each client with the necessary tools to manage their mental health throughout life and create long lasting change.

Angela provides a tailored treatment plan to meet each client’s unique needs and draws on a variety of scientifically valid, evidence-based psychological therapies to ensure successful treatment outcomes are possible, such as:
