Session Fees
You pay $83.05 out of pocket per session with a GP referral
The standard psychology consultation (60 Minute Session) fee with Angela is $182.00 (inc GST), payable in full at the end of the session.
The current Medicare rebate for a standard psychology consultation is $98.95.
Medicare rebates are processed immediately following the full fee payment, leaving an out of pocket/ gap of $83.05. The rebate amount of $98.95 is usually received to the nominated bank account with Medicare on the same day of the session.
Angela is a registered Health Provider with Medicare.
To receive a Medicare rebate for psychological treatment with Angela, a 'Mental Health Care Plan' or referral letter from your GP is required prior to your appointment booking.
Angela aims to keep fees affordable for clients. The Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommends Registered Psychologist's charge a standard fee at $318 for a 46–60 minute consultation for the 2025–2026 financial:

NDIS session fees are charged at the NDIS-regulated rate as outlined in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
Third Party Payments:
DVA, WorkCover, NDIS, EAP, Private Funds, Employers
Session fees are not required to be paid upfront for those wishing to access psychological therapy through WorkCover, DVA, NDIS, or EAP/ Employers. Invoices are forwarded to the nominated third party following each session. If you intend to pay for your session via a third party, please supply any supporting information (listed below) prior to booking an appointment via email or uploading through the bookings portal.
Please note that Private health fund rebates are not able to processed on site. A paid invoice receipt is able to be supplied to allow processing of your claim direct via your health fund.

Cancellation Policy
At Life’s Work Psychology, appointment times are reserved exclusively for each client. As such, adequate notice is required for any changes or cancellations.
Notice Period
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment without charge.
Cancellations or changes made with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a fee.
Late Cancellation & Non-Attendance Fees
If sufficient notice is not provided, the following fees may apply:
- Less than 24 hours’ notice or non-attendance: 100% of the session fee
- 24–48 hours’ notice: 50% of the session fee
For ADHD assessments, cancellation fees may be applied in accordance with the stage of the assessment process and any non-refundable deposit already paid.
Discretion may be applied in cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances.
Card-on-File Policy
A valid credit or debit card is securely held on file at the time of booking. This is used solely to process any applicable late cancellation or non-attendance fees and to facilitate ADHD assessment deposits where required.
No charges are processed at the time of booking, and standard session fees remain payable at the time of the appointment.
