Session Fees
The standard psychology consultation (50+ Minute Session) fee at Life's Work Psychology is $182.00 (inc GST).
The Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommends psychologist's charge a standard fee at $318 for a 46–60 minute consultation for the 2025–2026 financial year. NDIS session fees are charged at the NDIS-regulated rate as outlined in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
Medicare Subsidised Appointments:
You pay $83.05 out of pocket per session
Angela is a registered Health Provider with Medicare
To receive a Medicare rebate for psychological treatment with Angela, you need a 'Mental Health Care Plan' or referral letter from your GP or other treating doctor/Psychiatrist. Medicare rebates are processed following the full session fee payment, leaving an out of pocket/ gap of $83.05.
The medicare rebate amount for a standard psychological appointment with any psychologist in Australia is $98.95.
Third Party Payments
If you intend to pay for your session via a third party, please supply any supporting information (listed below) prior to booking an appointment. This information can be emailed or uploaded via the bookings portal 'forms' page:
WorkCover: claim number, referral and doctor's Certificate of Capacity / Incapacity for Work form, claim status, insurer contact if known
DVA: DVA File Number, compensable condition(s), GP referral letter or D904 referral: https://www.dva.gov.au/sites/default/files/2022-10/d0904.pdf
NDIS: Plan Management fund details
Private health fund rebates are not able to processed on site. A paid invoice receipt is able to be supplied to allow processing of your claim direct via your health fund.
